The Space
I partner with MusArt Co-Create, a co-working space built for music and arts practitioners. Their rooms are soundproofed and treated properly — so what you hear in a lesson is what your cajon actually sounds like, not what the walls do to it.
Ours is the Aljunied branch, on level 8 of Nanyang Pho Leng Hui Kuan. Bring yourself — the cajon and everything else is already there.

East–West Line — one stop from Paya Lebar, two from Kallang.

Along the main road, past Lorong 25 and Lorong 27. Roughly 300 metres.

Nanyang Pho Leng Hui Kuan is the tall block partway up. Lift to level 8.

For buses heading east. You cross Sims Avenue and Lorong 27A on the way in.

Across Aljunied Road from the station.
The two main roads through the area each run one way, in opposite directions — so which stop you want depends on where you’re travelling from. Every stop sign carries its code, so the numbers above are the surest way to find the right one. Your app may offer you Blk 134 (81031), one stop further along; it’s close in a straight line, but it leaves you on the far side of a couple of light-controlled crossings.

Paying: these are URA short-term carparks — use the Parking.sg app or a parking coupon.
Dropping off: you can pull into Lorong 27A itself and stop at the building entrance.
Evenings: the area gets busy after dinner. If you’re driving to a late slot, give yourself an extra five minutes to find a lot.
